*This course is open to boys and girls age 11 years and older.
To provide youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children to behave. Participants will also learn basic child care, basic first aid and basic infant/ child CPR.

Instructor: Ann Birkmire Williams, R.N., M.S.N.
Ann Birkmire-Williams is our School Nurse with over 25 years experience in Pediatric Nursing. She is also a Certified CPR and First Aid Instructor with the American Red Cross. She is the mother of four children and has had her fair share of babysitters in her home.
